BIG NEWS!

To all of you who do not already know, we do have some pretty big news to share!  We are pregnant!  We couldn't be more excited about it either.  The due date is May 12th, which at this point in time seems like an eternity.  I am sure it will go faster than I think however.  We have been to the doctor a few times and seen and heard the heartbeat.  I m currently 15 weeks along!  I have been very ill, but whenever I am sick, I just start baby shopping. :) We want to have everyone guess if it's a boy or girl and what you think the actual birth date will be!  We won't find out the baby's gender until mid December, so place your bets!

New Calling, New Adventure

The big news for this week is that I was just put in as Young Women's President of our ward!  I feel a little overwhelmed at the idea, but I am excited to graduate from Primary. Stephen will still be in Primary and continue teaching our class with another teacher for the time being.  Stephen was with me when the Bishop extended the call.  My jaw literally dropped and I couldn't speak for a minute, while Stephen quiely laughed.  My ever supportive husband. :)  I am really looking forward to getting to know these wonderful girls.  It is going to be quite a challenge with me working full time and teaching music lessons in the evenings, but it is where I have been called so I will do my best!  Let's just say I will be doing a lot of praying!

Winter has come to visit!  We had our first real snow storm this weekend and ended up with about 3 inches in our yard.  However it was pretty much gone by this morning.  A lot of people really hate when it starts getting cold, but I enjoy the change and variety.  It also gets me in the spirit for all of the upcoming holiday seasons! 

Help!

Since I am new to this whole blogging thing, I would love some advice on how to make our blog as cute as some of my friends and family that I have seen!  First off, any idea how I can get the title and picture centered?  I am up for any and all helpful hints!

Just the Beginning

Well I figured it was time to join a lot of my family members and start a blog. We have so many family members all over the country and it seems like a good option to keep the family informed. I plan to use it some what as a journal as well and document great family times. I hope this won't cause mass boredom. :) Thank you for taking a look, and check back often for our uptdates!
